Fridays | 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM

1 in 5 children in Butte County experience food insecurity, which means they don't have consistent access to a sufficient quantity of nutritious food. Studies show that food insecurity hinders school performance and can lead to increased health issues for children as they grow up.

The French Family Food Bank provides food to families in need each week so that no child has to go without. Since 2006, our food bank has been feeding over a thousand people a month.

Every Friday, we pass out boxes of food to families and individuals in need. Many of our neighbors depend on us as the only weekly food bank in town, and the demand is rising. We would love to have you join us as we love our neighbors in this way.

Where will we meet?

Meet at the back entrance of the church which is 2833 Fort Wayne St. The food bank is the small white shed-like building right next to the church building.

What should I bring?

Consider bringing a water bottle.

What should I wear?

Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, and wear shoes that are comfortable to stand in for a couple hours.

We look forward to having you join us in spreading light and love to our community!
