What We Do
The French Family Food Bank has provided food to over a thousand people a month since we started in 2006. The food we distribute includes fresh produce, bread, meat, dairy, snacks, canned food, and desserts. Boxes of food can be picked up each Friday from the Mount of Olives Food Bank.
Why We Do It
Hunger is on the rise in Northern California, especially in Butte County. Studies have shown that 1 in 5 children experience food insecurity. We provide food to families in need on a weekly basis so that no one has to go without.
How You Can Partner
If you would like to partner with us, you may make a financial donation to help us accomplish this goal. Please write "Food Bank Donation" in the memo/notes.
We also greatly appreciate voluntary help at our Mount of Olives weekly Friday food bank. If this interests you, meet at the food bank behind the church at 12:45 PM on Fridays, and plan to stick around till 2 PM.
