FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT TYPE OF CHURCH IS THE FATHER'S HOUSE?
We're a non-denominational church in the Protestant, Charismatic stream of Christianity.

WHAT'S SUNDAY MORNING LIKE?
We have two services, one at 9 AM and one at 11 AM, with a fellowship time in between. Our service starts with worship. It is interactive, Spirit-filled and focused on Jesus. After video announcements and an offering, Pastor Steve Orsillo teaches from one of the four gospels, picking up where we left off last week.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Some people look forward to getting dressed up, and others feel more comfortable keeping it casual. Whichever category you fall into, we just want to see you there!

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
If you're coming for the first time, arrive at least 15 minutes early so we can show you around our Kids Church and introduce you to our Kids Pastors. We have childcare for kids 0-11 years. Each age group has their very own age appropriate service which includes worship, teaching and just plain fun!

HOW CAN I GET CONNECTED?
Stop by the connections desk inside the church when you arrive and we'll introduce you to one of our decades group pastors. You can also sign up for our next newcomers lunch or join a Bible study.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

Your kids get to have an awesome time at church as well! We've got a fun, safe, Jesus-centered program for all children ages 0-11.

Everybody, whatever age, gets to experience Jesus and find a place to belong!

OUR SENIOR PASTORS

Steve & Vicki Orsillo

The Father's House was founded in 1997 when Steve and Vicki Orsillo were called to leave their thriving Sacramento construction business and bring their young family to the last place they had considered settling in––  Oroville, California. At the time, Southside was an infamously dark area known for high levels of poverty and drug and alcohol abuse. Seeking God to find out what spiritual power had bound the city, Steve heard "selfishness". Determined to come in the opposite spirit, selflessness, the Father's House began a 20-year journey of community transformation.

The vision of the Father's House Church is to bring light to Oroville, to make it impossible to get to hell from Oroville.
